WEB Commission on Presidential Debates Biden - Trump CWRU and Cleveland Clinic Cleveland

Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, will host the first presidential debate on Sept. 29.

The debate will be the first of three scheduled debates between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. The other two debates will be held on Oct. 15 and Oct. 22.

“We are thrilled and honored to host this important event on our campus,” said Case Western Reserve University president Barbara R. Snyder in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming the candidates and providing a safe and productive environment for this national conversation.”

“The Cleveland Clinic is proud to partner with Case Western Reserve University to host the first presidential debate of the 2020 election,” said Cleveland Clinic CEO and President Tom Mihaljevic in a statement. “We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of all participants and attendees, and we look forward to this historic event.”

The debate will be moderated by Chris Wallace of Fox News. The topics for the debate have not yet been announced.
