Turbulence Hits Over Myanmar

The SIA flight, which departed London on Monday at 10:38 p.m., experienced sudden extreme turbulence over the Irrawaddy Basin in Myanmar. According to aviation tracking site FlightRadar24, data analysis revealed that the severe air currents occurred shortly after the flight entered Myanmar's airspace.

Emergency Landing in Bangkok

The pilot onboard the Singapore-bound Boeing 777-300ER promptly declared a medical emergency and diverted the flight to Bangkok, where it made an emergency landing at 15:45 local time.
