FTI Touristik GmbH Files for Insolvency
On Monday, June 3, FTI Touristik GmbH, the parent company of the FTI Group, filed for insolvency in the Munich regional court. The filing comes as a surprise to many as FTI was Europe's third-largest tour operator. In a statement, the company said that other group companies will also file for insolvency in the coming days.

FTI customers who have booked trips for future travel dates should contact their travel agent or FTI directly to inquire about their options. The company has said that it will continue to operate its flights and tours as planned for the time being, but it is possible that some trips may be canceled or rescheduled.
